A Unique Fundraising Opportunity

 

The Alaska Ride is unique because it allows you to choose the AIDS or HIV organization that has the most significance to you.  The Alaska Ride is able to accomplish this by way of its administering organization, The Patricia Manning Foundation. 

The Patricia Manning Foundation is a 501c(3) organization that will act as the administrator for all funds raised by participants of The Alaska Ride.   The Patricia Manning Foundation has no paid employees and will collect no proceeds for acting as administrator of The Alaska Ride.  However, by utilizing a 501c(3) organization, donators of The Alaska Ride participants are still able to take advantage of tax deductable benefits as allowed by law.   

By acting as the administrator, The Patricia Manning Foundation will collect all monies raised by participants of The Alaska Ride.  Following the completion of the event, the money will be granted to the organization of the participants choosing.  Participants will state this request upon registratering for The Alaska Ride.  Should a participant not have an organization that they wish their money to go to, The Alaska Ride will work with them to ensure their money goes to local, national, or worldwide organizations that provide AIDS services.
